THE LIMITS OF MY LANGUAGE MEAN THE LIMIT OF MY WORLD.
LUDWIG WITTGENSTEIN, PROPOSITION 5.6, TRACTATUS LOGICO-PHILOSOPHICUS
Damater | She of the grain
DaMater o DeMeter, Mother "Da", goddess of the fertile land and of wheat.
Womb from which life is given and where all life expires.
"È cavità di donna che crea il mondo / Veglia sul tempo, lo protegge" (CSI, Del Mondo)
First intuition: words are not enough, the form of the object embraces us and we understand without words.
IX. The Tower | Throw away the ladder
"He must, so to speak, throw away the ladder after he has climbed up it" (Wittgenstein, TLP 6.54)
The Tower is a Major Arcana which means radical change that must be freely accepted, so that a resolution could be born out of it.
The Tower is the ladder that we abandon, while asking that the world will be *showed* and no *explained* to us.
To understand what cannot be said. "Whereof one cannot speak, thereof one must be silent" (Wittgenstein, TLP 7)
A methodological note, this second sculpture.
